HOME
Here are my two intepretations of home. Mine is ‘Home is where you make it’, as I travel between Manchester and Singapore a lot, it’s the things that I bring/carry with me that makes me feel at home.
The other poster would be based on Mariam’s moodboard from Abu Dhabi. She mentioned on her moodboard that she considers home a place that she feels comfortable in and also called it her own special kingdom where she gets to enjoy the peace and quiet in addition to the morning sun that brightens her ‘kingdom’.
sssh!
Ideas that I needed out of my head. I have a few favourites in there but will see what kind of feedback I will get later today.
Makeover
Spent the last few days recoding my website and blog. My website now although already simple as it is, is not simple enough for me. I decided that I want to strip it down even more, letting the viewers see my work right before anything else. Thats why I’ve decided on a really clean layout and navigation that doesn’t distract my work. The blog, which is the hardest, is coded and done. Just need one more day to get the website done!
New Challenge
During the past few months of ‘The 60 Minutes Project’ competition, I’ve gained interest in icons as you guys would have probably noticed it appearing more and more often especially during the month of April. As this is something that definitely wouldn’t take more than 30minutes, I want to see how far I can take this and at the same time improve on my skills. Again, an object a day for as long as I can go! If you guys have any objects you wish to see me do, please just list them.
Just the beginning
We have finally submitted our final project in Uni, but this is not the end of Attempt Collective! We really want to bring this further and make it happen and the next couple of weeks is crucial to us. There are so many stuff that needs to be tweaked and ‘perfected’ before the final show. We also want to start submitting our designs and concepts to magazines and blogs to feature our cases and hopefully our collective too. MetJosh from Mason&Co the other day and we both strongly agree that we need to collaborate! Mason&Co produces really fine designs and we are quite a fan of their work, collaborating will definitely benefit the both of us and I’m really looking forward to it! So keep your eyes peeled.
